Download Value Tool for desktop Chrome. Use the activation code provided by your seller to unlock access.

Manual installation and updates. Internet and a valid activation code required.

Already installed? Follow the update instructions below. Do not uninstall the extension or delete your existing installation folder.

FIRST TIME

Install in Chrome

Download and extract the ZIP.
Move the extracted Value Tool folder to a permanent location.
Open chrome://extensions and enable Developer mode.
Click Load unpacked and choose the folder containing manifest.json.
Open Vehicle Appraisal from Chrome’s Extensions menu and open its side panel.
Enter your customer activation code. Your assigned access period begins on first activation.

ALREADY A CUSTOMER

Update without starting over

Export your workbook as a precaution and keep your activation code.
Download and extract the latest ZIP to a temporary location.
Close the extension panel. Copy the contents of the new folder into your existing installed folder, replacing matching files.
Keep the original folder’s name and location. Don’t create a nested folder, remove the extension, or clear its data.
Open chrome://extensions and click Reload on the existing extension.
Refresh auction pages and reopen the panel. Confirm v1.1.28, your activation, and your workbook.

Access and renewals

Have your seller issue a code for a trial or paid access. After arranging a renewal directly with the seller, choose Check renewal / saved activation if the extension is locked. Do not enter your banking credentials on this page. This page does not collect payments.

Each code is assigned to one installation. Contact your seller before moving to another Chrome profile or reinstalling. Never share your activation code or an administrator password.
